The Albert Lea Wa-tan-ye Service Club met on May 3. President Dorothy Wedge called the meeting to order.

A report was given about the district meeting in Riceville, Iowa. The theme for the day was God Bless America. The decorations also were a patriotic theme. A video was shown of the Word War II veterans’ memorial in Washington, D.C.

Joy McCune was the hostess for the May meeting.

The next meeting will be June 7. Because of July 4 falling on the weekend, members decided to change the meeting date to July 12.
