The Albert Lea 14 year old’s traveling baseball team opened their season this week with two wins. The team beat Blooming Prairie Monday, winning 8-5 in 7 innings. Johnanthan Fleek got the win on the mound, giving up two runs Cody Scherff got the win for Albert Lea Wednesday, pitching in a 15-3 win aganist New Richland. Scherff gave up one run in three innings. The team recorded 11 hits in the first game and 17 hits in the second game.
