Black bear sightings reported

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office notified Freeborn County dispatchers of several reports of a large, black bear in the area at 10:48 a.m. Saturday. According to reports, the last report of the bear was from the 87000 block of State Line Road.

Three arrested for DWI

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office arrested Juan Gonzalez, 47, for fourth-degree DWI and third-degree test refusal after a traffic stop at 14023 U.S. Highway 69 at 10:11 p.m. Saturday.

Police arrested Brenda Renee Keesling, 46, for second-degree DWI, leaving the scene of an accident and expired driver’s license after a traffic crash near the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Clark Street at 1:28 a.m. Saturday, reports stated. Police arrested Kyle Anderson, 23, for DWI after a traffic stop at 134 W. William St. at 12:37 a.m. Monday, according to reports.

Garage broken into

A garage on the 800 block of South Newton Avenue was reported broken into at 5:41 p.m. Friday. Items were reported stolen, according to reports.

Man cited for two charges

Police cited Adam John Flategraff, 18, for minor consumption and drug paraphernalia on the 100 block of West Hawthorne Street at 11:06 p.m. Friday. According to reports Flategraff tested 0.3.

Window broken

A window was reported broken on the front door of the Aragon Bar at 6:50 a.m. Sunday, according to reports.

Lines down

Power lines were reported down on the 1400 block of Frank Avenue and on Broadway Avenue near East Fifth Street at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday during storms, reports stated. Traffic was redirected on Broadway Avenue and Alliant Energy was notified.
