The Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has selected a new location for its offices. Effective immediately, the offices will be housed in the Northbridge Mall.

The chamber office has been temporarily located in the Northbridge Mall since early April. For the last 2 1/2 months, the chamber staff and executive committee have been reviewing various options throughout the community. More than a dozen properties were reviewed during this time

“For a variety of reasons, many of the properties were not suited to our needs,” said Randy Kehr, executive director of the Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce. “It became clear that the Northbridge Mall location would increase the chamber’s visibility in the community and also fit within our financial considerations.”

He added that in a recently completed survey of chamber members, the Northbridge Mall was one of the top-rated locations.

The new offices will be constructed over the next several weeks in the former Bath & Body Works store. While the offices are being constructed, the chamber will move to another location inside the mall on a temporary basis.

The new chamber address will be 2580 N. Bridge Ave. Its phone number remains the same, 373-3938.
