City of Albert Lea accepting tree debris at Transfer Station, Farmland site

The City of Albert Lea will be accepting brush and tree debris at the City Transfer Station and the Blazing Star Landing (old Farmland Site) throughout the week. The transfer station will be open Monday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and normal hours throughout the rest of the week. Fees for city residents will be waived (brush and tree debris only).
City residents may also drop off brush and tree debris only at the Blazing Star Landing. Use the Garfield Street entrance and follow the cones. Do not drop off garbage or landfill material at this site or it will be closed.

Regular Transfer Station hours:
Monday and Wednesday 3 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday and Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
