The second annual Bancroft Bay Open takes place Saturday.

It is a disc golf tournament organized by the Flying Lea Disc Golf Club, and the tournament is open to members and non-members alike.

Thirty-six holes of disc golf will be played, using the upper and lower courses at Bancroft Bay Park in Albert Lea.

Registration is 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. There will be a players meeting at 9:45 a.m. Tee time is 10 a.m.

Divisions are open ($30 entry fee), advanced ($20) and intermediate ($10). Cash prizes for lowest scores will come from 60 percent of the proceeds. The remainder goes toward the club goal of replacing the baskets at the course. Discs will be awarded for closest-to-pin prizes.
