The Downtown Cleanup was once again a big success. Lots of volunteers came out to beautify our downtown in the fifth annual cleanup.

Many thanks to Destination Albert Lea for organizing the cleanup, for the many volunteers who came to help pick up trash, plant flowers, haul garbage to the Dumpster provided by Thompson Sanitation, wash windows, sweep the curbs and parking lots and many other miscellaneous jobs that were accomplished. We truly appreciate all who help with this event each year to make our downtown shine!
