Editorial: Visit the tornado page online

Thank you to everyone who sent photos and videos relating to the June 17 tornadoes and their aftermath and cleanup to the Albert Lea Tribune.
The Tribune has created a special page on its website dedicated to the tornado coverage. There is a link on the homepage of AlbertLeaTribune.com immediately to the left of the search box that says “Tornado Coverage.”
If you can’t find the link, you can type in one of these two addresses:
https://www.albertleatribune.com/news/tornadoes/
https://www.albertleatribune.com/tornadoslideshow/
Here, readers can catch up on all the news going back to when the sirens sounded across Freeborn County.
Also, you will find a slideshow of nearly all the images taken by the Albert Lea Tribune and its readers. The photos are set to the music of Minneapolis bluegrass band Switched at Birth. The songs are “Ook Pik Waltz” and “Carpenter’s Reel.” There are videos taken by readers on the page, too.
If you don’t have the Internet, try to find a friend who does. The images are stunning and memorable and at the same time sorrowful and tragic.
