Expect lane closures on I-90 starting today

Motorists will experience intermittent lane closures on both eastbound and westbound Interstate 90 from Alden to Highway 13 beginning today, as crews complete finishing and cleanup work from last summer’s construction project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The work should take about one week, weather permitting.
This I-90 resurfacing project went late into the 2009 construction season and winter weather caused some of the finishing and cleanup work to be delayed until this year.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
