FMCS members with no power need to report

Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services has brought in crews from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa to work on downed power lines. As of 7 p.m. Friday evening 80 members were still without power.
The Alden and Freeborn areas are the main communities still without power. Members are encouraged to call to make sure their outages have been recorded.
As the cleanup efforts roll out, everyone is to be aware of downed power lines. If anyone sees power lines on the ground they are to assume they are live and stay away from them. FMCS cannot stress enough the importance of safety in the community.
They would like to thank their members for their patience during this time.
At this time there is no estimate for when all members will have power again. Members who do not have power should call their toll-free numbers at 1-800-734-6421 and 1-800-927-6201.
