Glenville Days starts Friday, and there are many events for all ages scheduled.

The weekend of activities starts Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Legion with a scholarship supper. The Medallion hunt begins at 7 p.m. with the first clue on Main Street. On the Main Street Stage at 7 p.m. “Glenville’s Got Talent” begins, and later on the same stage Grizzly Sound DJ will play from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Saturday starts at 8 a.m. with the River run/walk starting at the park. The 5K event will benefit the Glenville Boosters Fund. Registration is $10 for those 18 and older and $5 for youth under 18.

At 10 a.m. the parade will be held in town, and at 11 a.m. the King and Queen contest will be held at the tennis court.

Also at 11 a.m. there will be more Medallion hunt clues at the park gazebo. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a barbecue pork lunch at the park, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be kids activities and games in the park.

From 1 to 4 p.m. bingo will be held at the park, and from 1:30 to 5 p.m. there will be food vendors in the park. At 2 p.m. the WFLA Lodge 44 Brick Hall Bike Give-Away will be held at the tennis court. Also at 2 p.m. is the dodgeball tournament at the tennis court. They have increased the number of teams for the tournament because they had so many participate last year.

At 4 p.m. there’s bovine bingo at the park. At First Lutheran from 5 to 6:30 is the car hop. At 6:30 p.m. the Eddie Cochran Car Cruise will go around the park. Saturday will end with a street dance from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. featuring the Arch Allies, who play cover songs by bands like Styx and Journey.

On Sunday at 9 a.m. there will be a church service at the park featuring the Good Times Band.

Parents are Tim and Shari Charron, and she is a queen candidate. She is 4 years old. She has a brother, Danny, and likes to dance and go bowling. Her favorite foods are corn and goulash.

Henry Hershey

Mother Melissa Cafourek, and he is a king candidate. He is 4 years old. He has one brother, Palmer, and likes to play t-ball, soccer, basketball and read books. He likes to camp and ride bike. His favorite foods include pizza with black olives, string cheese and granola bars.

Avery Hornberger

Parents are Joe and Erin Hornberger, and she is a queen candidate. She is 4 years old. She has one brother, Issac, and likes to ride bike and scooter. She also likes playing tractors with Issac and swimming. Her favorite foods are spaghetti, pizza and chicken nuggets.

Gage Jacobsen

Parents are Travis and Michelle Jacobsen, and he is a king candidate. He is 4 years old. He has two siblings, Dillon and Cam, and likes to ride bike, swing and play video games. He enjoys playing outside in the dirt, and his favorite foods are cereal, pizza and toast with honey.

Kennedy Jacobsen

Parents are Tom and Val Jacobsen, and she is a queen candidate. She is 4 years old. Her siblings are Elizabeth and Charlotte. She likes playing in her tree house and gardening with her parents. Her favorite foods are chicken nuggets and fries.

Logan Ladwig

Parents are Greg and Jenny Ladwig, and he is a king candidate. He is 4 years old. He has one sibling, Lindsey, and likes to ride his bike, play with Lindsey and play basketball. He likes to swing and play at parks. His favorite foods are hot dogs, chicken nuggets and tacos.

Ruby Page

Parents are Eric and Tabitha Page, and she is a queen candidate. She is 3 years old. She likes to play at the park and read books. Her favorite day of the week is Friday because she gets to shop with her grandmothers. Her favorite food is macaroni and cheese.

Haylee Reyerson

Parents are Samantha Avelar and Josh Reyerson, and she is a queen candidate. She is 5 years old. Her siblings are Brayden and Camden, and she likes going out to eat with her family. She likes playing outside with her brothers and her favorite food is pizza.

Landon Schumaker

Parents are Jason and Sarah Schumaker, and he is a king candidate. He is 4 years old. He has two siblings, Ashley and Jaden. He likes playing outside, riding bike and playing with cars, tractors and monster trucks. He likes helping his dad fix cars, playing with Jaden and his favorite foods are hot dogs and chicken nuggets.

Whitney Studier

Parents are Trevor and Trice Studier, and she is a queen candidate. She is 3 years old. Her siblings are Logan and Griffen, and she enjoys playing at the park, coloring, puzzles and baby dolls. She’s a happy girls who likes to take care of her dolls. Her favorite foods are shrimp, melon and tomatoes.

Taylor Vanek

Parents are Lane and Sandy Vanek, and she is a queen candidate. She is 4 years old. She has one sibling, Kenna, and six cats. She enjoys swinging, swimming and sledding. Her favorite foods are cheese pizza and cupcakes.
