Tornadoes tear past Wadena
The Tribune has received reports that multiple homes have been damaged by multiple tornadoes near Alden on County Road 46. People are injured.
A tornado was also seen near Clarks Grove at 7:14 p.m.
At 6:42 a tornado was spotted 2 miles east of Alden moving northeast at 30 mph.
At 6:29 p.m. a large tornado was spotted near Mansfield moving northeast at 15 mph.
The tornado warning is now in effect until 8:15 p.m.
The National Weather Service at 6:19 was tracking a large and dangerous tornado 16 miles southwest of Albert Lea moving northeast at 15 mph.
At 6:10 a tornado was seen near Kiester 17 miles southwest of Albert Lea. The storm wass moving northeast at 25 mph.
At 6:06 p.m. a severe storm capable of producing a tornado was seen 17 miles east of Blue Earth and moving northeast at 25 mph. A second storm capable of producing tornadoes was seen 5 miles southwest of Kiester moving at 25 mph.
The National Weather Service reported a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado at 5:43 p.m. near Bricelyn, 12 miles south of Blue Earth, moving north at 30 mph.
A tornado was seen between Elmore and Blue Earth moving northeast at 45 mph at 5:24 p.m. A tornado watch will be in effect until 9 p.m.
Damaging winds and hail are likely, with strong thunderstorms tonight.
