The Lake Mills’ baseball team scored three runs in the second and Chris Throne was solid on the mound to lead Lake Mills (11-2 overall, 4-1 North Iowa Conference) past Osage 6-1 Wednesday in Lake Mills.

Throne went all seven innings for the Bulldogs and gave up five hits while he struck out 10 for the win.

At the plate, Lake Mills had RBIs from Alex Grunhovd, Bryan Hengesteg, Tyler Rice and Levi Dahle.

Lake Mills travels to Crystal Lake on Thursday to play Woden-Crystal Lake-Titonka.
