The Ladies’ Aid of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Albert Lea met in Luther Hall on May 13. Hostesses were Verna Tuttle and Kathy Halvorson.

The Rev. Wayne Halvorson continued the theme on the study of hymns. Members joined in singing, “The Head That Once was Crowned.” Betty Patterson served as pianist.

President Maren Ring presided over the business meeting. She thanked all who helped to make the salad luncheon a success, including the committee, those who took care of publicity, brought salads and bars and helped during the lucheon. A special thank you was extended to Jim Ring for his assistance. President Ring also thanked Sandy Pieper and her committee for the decorating and program for the spring banquet.

A thank you letter was read from the Board for Christian Service of the ELS for the $200 donation to the Relief Fund for Chile.

A farewell brunch for Vicar Jeff and Megan Merseth will be held following services on June 6.
