Tigers beat Woodbury in tourney opener

The Albert Lea Legion baseball team took a 5-0 lead into the seventh inning Friday against Woodbury and ended up winning 5-4 after Tyler Woodside came in to get the save.
With the bases loaded and one out in the seventh, Woodside came in an finished the game, giving up four runs on a walk and two defensive errors.
Aaron Klatt picked up the win, throwing 6 1/3 inning with seven strikeouts, eight walks, three hits and gave up three earned runs.
“Aaron pitched a good game,” coach Jack Kortan said.
The Tigers got three of their runs with two outs, getting clutch hitting from their lineup.
Connor Kortan went 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. J.T. Bellrichard went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and Woodside went 2-for-4.
