The Albert Lea-Freeborn county Chamber of Commerce announces that the grand marshals for this year’s July 3 parade are the veterans of World War II.
All World War II veterans are invited to ride on the grand marshal float, but should first call the American Legion at 373-7993 and let them know you are participating.
The veterans are asked to arrange their own transportation to the fairgrounds and for pick up at the end of the parade. This year’s theme is “Hometown Heroes” with the parade starting at 6 p.m. on July 3.
For more parade information call the Chamber at 373-3938.
