As we kick off our new website for albertleatribune.com, we would like to thank you, the customer, for the following:
1. Patience: As many of you know, changing over a successful website is a large task and one that is certainly not without its share of quirks. If you have had any problems receiving the new site, please turn off your computer and turn it back on again as that has been the cure of many of the customers that have called us. We also will be working on archives over the next few weeks as that is quite a large job and requires a bit of time.
2. Your comments on the new site: As we develop anything new, it is you the customer that is first in mind and so letting us know both the good and the bad of what you are experiencing is what we need. Over the next month, we will be tweaking our new site and your involvement is crucial to creating a site that involves our community in all that we do.
3. Making the albertleatribune.com site one of the most successful websites in southern Minnesota: We are seeing over 10,000 unique visitors daily, and a 41 percent increase in web traffic over the last two years. This has been tremendous. It is because of your interest in our site that we are able to update and provide you with what is new and exciting in new media.
