Offense leads Lake Mills baseball past Forest City

The Lake Mills baseball team pounded out 10 hits and scored 12 runs to defeat Forest City 12-2 in five innings on Tuesday in Lake Mills.
Drey LyBarger earned the win for the Bulldogs.
LyBarger went all five innings, allowed five hits and struck out five.
At the plate, Lake Mills had three players with three RBIs or more.
Royce Byrnes, Levi Dahle and Alex Grunhovd all went 2-3 with three RBI on the night.
Chris Throne also went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the fourth inning.
Lake Mills also did not have one batter strikeout tonight against Forest City.
” I was pleased with our approach at the plate,” Lake Mills baseball coach Jason Blaser said. ” I thought we did great job of not chasing tonight.”
Lake Mills is back in action with a double-header Wednesday in Lake Mills.
Lake Mills will play West Hancock at 4 p.m. and then will take on Saint Ansgar in the night cap .
