Thompson Sanitation of Clarks Grove has purchased 25 pink trash carts from cascade cart solutions to use at the Freeborn County Relay for Life event on August 13. The company has provided free trash service at the event before.

One of the reasons the company bought the carts was to publicize the event. Also, the carts cost more than other regular carts because the company donates part of the proceeds to fight breast cancer. Thompson Sanitation participates in the event because many of their employees have been affected by cancer, and said they just felt like it was a good thing to do.
