A taxi driver reported to Albert Lea police that three males took his money bag about 1:46 a.m. Monday near the corner of East Fourth Street and St. Joseph Avenue. The money bag was found in the 400 block of East Fourth Avenue at 8:08 p.m. Monday and was empty, according to the police report.

Arrest made for DWI

Adam Mark Brekke, 25, no address listed, was arrested and charged with second degree DWI near the corner of 870th Avenue and 173rd Street northeast of Myrtle just before midnight Saturday. The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office report added that Brekke tested .21.
