Watch the fireworks from ALMC
Published 10:20 am Friday, July 2, 2010
Each Fourth of July, Albert Lea Medical Center opens its campus for the community to view fireworks from the helipad and adjacent grassy area. For the safety and security of all involved, ALMC officials ask those viewing fireworks on the campus to follow its standard policies including no tobacco, no alcohol and no solicitation. In addition, people are asked not to put up chairs or leave anything on the grounds before 6 p.m.
There will be extra security to block off unsafe paths, control entrance to the buildings and parking lots and patrol the grounds. The east, south and Water Street parking lots are open for community parking. Those with mobility concerns may use the main parking lot during the event and have priority for helipad seating and viewing.
