The Naeve Health Care Foundation will host a Project Pink Gala at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25 at Wedgewood Cove in Albert Lea.
“Project Pink,” is NHCF, Naeve Hospital Auxiliary and Albert Lea Medical Center’s fundraising campaign to purchase new mammography equipment for the medical center.
NHCF and the auxiliary want to ensure ALMC patients continue to have local access to the latest technology in breast cancer prevention and treatment. NHCF and the auxiliary have made a donation to help cover half the cost of the equipment. To help raise the remainder, they and ALMC are challenging the community to match the gift through “Project Pink.”
Tickets to the gala are $200 per person with all proceeds going toward “Project Pink.” The gala includes a social hour, dinner and dancing to the “Modd Squad.” Proper attire is requested.
For more information about “Project Pink” and to RSVP to the gala call David Bonnerup, NHCF development officer, at 377-6380.
