A severe thunderstorm that dropped over an inch of rain in Albert Lea around 5 p.m. Tuesday, prompted athletic directors to postpone the Albert Lea-Rochester Century girls’ soccer game scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at Hammer Field and they boys’ game which was at Rochester Century.

Both soccer games will be rescheduled though no specific date has been named.

The storm also cut the Albert Lea-Rochester Century girls’ tennis match short, but the Panthers had already built a 4-0 lead and clinched a win over the Tigers.
