My wife, Kristine, and I would like to send a note of thanks and gratitude toward all the people who came the night of the June 17 tornado outbreak and all the days after to help rescue our pigs and clean up the aftermath. We could not have accomplished so much in such a short amount of time without the help from our friends, neighbors and relatives. Also, thank you to those who dropped off food and drinks at our house. Finally, thank you to the Salvation Army and American Red Cross for all their hard work after the tornado in keeping all the cleanup workers hydrated and fed. Thank you to all who helped! Our hog barn has been reconstructed and we are expecting new pigs to arrive Aug. 26.
