The final Twilight Concert will be held at the United Methodist Church of Albert Lea on Monday, August 16. The 45-minute concert will begin at 7:15 p.m. in the sanctuary. This week’s recitalist will be cellist, Scott Ness. Ness will be a senior at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Oberlin, Ohio. The program will include works by Bach, Faure, Foster and beautiful arrangements of familiar hymns. He will be accompanied by Eileen Nelson Ness. A free-will offering will be taken to cover expenses. A reception to greet the artist will follow the concert. The public is invited to enjoy this concert. The Methodist church is a handicapped accessible building.
