GLENVILLE — The Glenville-Emmons volleyball team opened the season Tuesday as they hosted Spring Grove.

Spring Grove used its athleticism to spoil the home opener for the Wolverines as they defeated Glenville-Emmons 3-1.

“Spring Grove is a really athletic team,” Glenville-Emmons coach Lisa Ziebell said. “Our effort tonight was tremendous. The girls hustled, we dug out balls that most teams would have counted out. We were all over the court, but they kept us running and on our toes.”
