Police arrested Jabar Pedro Morarend, 38, a Level 3 sex offender, at the Aragon Bar, 130 W. College St., on a probation violation after receiving a call that Morarend was drinking in the bar.

Morarend is on probation in Mower County for a non-sex-related crime and is not supposed to be in bars. He was transported to the Mower County jail.

Broken window reported

A window was reported broken out of a house at 1330 Frank Hall Drive at 11:51 a.m. Wednesday, according to reports.

Person reported stealing drugs

A doctor at Albert Lea Medical center reported a person trying to steal prescriptions at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday. No other informationw as available as of press time.

Woman cited for shoplifting

Police cited Lisa Rae Niedermeier, 40, with shoplifting from Shopko at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday, reports stated.

House break-in reported

A house break-in was reported on Freeborn County Road 17 at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. Nothing was taken.
