Neil and Mary Jo Volkman and Jeff and Penny Polis, all of Albert Lea, announce the engagement of their children, Betsy Volkman and Mike Polis.

Betsy is a 2009 graduate of St. Olaf College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish.

Mike is a 2010 graduate of Augsburg College with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and communication studies.

A Nov. 6, 2010, wedding is planned at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.
