Casey Swenson, on behalf of the Ecumenical Food Pantry, recently presented Capt. Jim Brickson of the Albert Lea Salvation Army with a check for $1,790. This money was awarded to the Ecumenical Food Pantry by FEMA. The food pantry board believed the Salvation Army’s need for assistance exceeded its own because of the Salvations Army’s extensive involvement in the tornado recovery efforts. -- Submitted Photo
