Freeborn County blood drive had 176 units collected

The Freeborn County blood drive was held Aug. 25, 26 and 27 at Crossroads Evangelical Free Church, with 176 units collected.
Organizers wish to thank all the donors and volunteers who made the drive successful, as well as Kwik Trip for the orange juice and the Friemen’s for helping set up and take down the blood mobile equipment.
The next Freeborn County bloodmobile will be Nov. 8 from 1 to 7 p.m. at the National Guard Armory.
The following pins were awarded to donors.
- One gallon: Don Gould, Clarks Grove.
- Five gallons: Maureen Stiehl, Albert Lea.
- Six gallons: Mianne M. Wittmer, Clarks Grove.
- Eight gallons: Dennis Schmidt, Hartland.
- Nine gallons: Charles Dunbar, Emmons.
- 11 gallons: Dale Matson, Hayward.
- 12 gallons: Lyle Senholtz, Albert Lea.
- 13 gallons: Bill Graskurth, Albert Lea, and Louis Thomschin, Alden.
