Kim achieves board certification

Albert Lea Medical Center physician Eun Jong Kim, rehabilitation medicine, has achieved board certification in electrodiagnostic medicine from the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) and is now an ABEM Diplomate.
Physicians who practice electrodiagnostic medicine diagnose and manage individuals of all ages who have medical problems related to muscle and nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, myasthenia gravis and neuropathies. The most common electrodiagnostic tests include electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies.
Dr. Kim joined ALMC in July 2008. She received her medical degree from Ewha Woman’s University, College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea, and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York.
