Lake Mills dominates Garner-Hayfield

The Lake Mills volleyball team traveled to Garner on Friday to take on the the Cardinals in an North Iowa conference clash.
The Bulldogs(28-1 overall, 7-0 NIC) dominated Garner-Hayfield as they defeated the Cardinals 25-14, 25-12, 25-8 to secure the sweep.
“Solid team effort tonight,” Lake Mills coach Jim Boehmer. “We are starting to pick up our pace. We will have a tough final two weeks.”
Haley Matthews led Lake Mills from the service line as she went 20-for-21 and had four service aces.
As a team, the Bulldogs had ten team aces on the night.
Josie Brackey recorded 14 kills, while Amanda Lampman had eight kills for Lake Mills.
Lindy Pins led the team with four blocks.
Morgan Fjelstad and Amanda Lampman also had three blocks a piece for Lake Mills.
As a team, the Bulldogs had 14 blocks.
Fjelstad also finished with 29 set assists.
Lake Mills is off until Saturday when they are at the North Iowa Conference Tournament in Buffalo Center.
