The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and the Albert Lea Police Department have arrested nine people for driving while impaired from Aug. 20 through Sunday evening, according to Albert Lea Police Lt. J.D. Carlson.
The arrests came during a time of heightened enforcement by law enforcement officers around the state. The enforcement goes through Labor Day.
Carlson said there were two DWI arrests Saturday night in Freeborn County.
