Burglary interrupted

Trooper Montgomery Gilbertson, 21, no address listed, and Adam Haas, 18, no address listed, were arrested by Albert Lea police just after 10 p.m. Saturday for the alleged theft of a generator from the new boat house just south of the Bancroft Bridge and Richway Drive. The police report said the pair had come back for a second generator when they were arrested.

Burglary reported

Freeborn County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a burglary at 4:01 p.m. Friday which took place at a residence two and a half miles west of Albert Lea on County Road 46. The owners stated several firearms, jewelry and some electronics were taken. The owners also stated the burglary took place sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Friday.
