The Northwood-Kensett volleyball team lost two matches Monday at a triangular in Britt, Iowa.

The Vikings lost to West Hancock 2-0 by scores of 25-18 and 25-22, and to Ventura 2-0 by scores of 25-22 and 25-17.

N-K was led by Courtney Gilertson who went 12-for-16 hitting, with nine kills and 16 digs, and was 13-for-14 with an ace.

Tessa Bratrud went 19-for-24 hitting with six kills and 17 digs, while serving 9-for-11 with two aces.

Britney Low chipped in seven kills and two ace serves, Courtney Hengesteg had 16 set assists with an ace serve and Kelsey Tenold went 14-for-14 serving with four aces, 10 digs and a kill.

The Vikings volleyball team is in action again at 7 p.m. tonight at North Butler.
