Randy Demmer spoke at a Demmer for Congress rally on Friday evening attended by more than 100 people. Among the crowd were five or six angry people who were obviously Tim Walz campaign operatives.

They were rude, loud and attempted to dominate the question part of the evening. My initial reaction was anger at the rudeness of their actions but after thinking about their actions I have changed my mind. Instead of being upset, I want to thank them. They reinforced the conviction of many of us that Randy Demmer is definitely the superior candidate. Several people asked for Demmer signs and increased their financial contributions citing the offensive behavior of these visitors from outside our area. I was especially pleased by the calm, respectful and detailed way Demmer handled their caustic, angry comments.
