Re-elect U.S. Rep. Grijalva of Arizona

“It does nothing to change insurance behavior.” This is a quote from Democratic Congressman Raul Grijalva of the 7th District in Arizona. Congressman Grijalva courageously stands strong by putting people first over the corporate interests of insurance companies. A new hero for progressives as we continue to advocate for a public option.
Congressman Grijalva advocates for a reconciliation vote in the Senate where only 51 votes are needed to pass real health care reforms. He also advocates a second stage of sending “a handful of popular regulatory measures to the Senate, where they enjoy bipartisan support. These would include insurance cost controls, portability between jobs, ending the use of preexisting conditions to deny coverage, prohibiting lifetime and annual limits on benefits, prohibiting age and gender discrimination, establishing essential benefit standards, and ending the practice of recession.”
Please contribute to Congressman Grijalva’s re-election campaign especially if you favor a strong public option.
