I have a big concern and I’m hoping that someone can help me. The TV has been buzzing today about the drug cartels near the Texas border. Bullets from fights across the border in Juarez, Mexico, have been hitting buildings and cars in El Paso, Texas.

We really need to let President Obama know about this. However, I really don’t know how to contact him. I doubt whether he’s at the White House. I hear he might be on another vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, then before that he celebrated his birthday with some guys, did some exercising, and played a little golf while Michelle went to Spain. I know he’s been busy.

Perhaps Texas Gov. Rick Perry has already informed him of this problem. I hear that 28,000 people have been killed in this war near our border with Mexico since 2006. If I had Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s number maybe I could call her. I know she’s really concerned. Oh, that’s right, she’s already told Obama about the problems when she went to Washington for a 15-minute talk with him. He really didn’t seem worried at that time. I know he’s been busy.

Also I wonder if Obama has seen pictures on the TV of the huge warehouses in Arizona filled with tons of drugs which have been confiscated by our border guards. The drugs are destroyed only to have the warehouse fill up again. And do you think Obama knows small boats are bringing drugs to the shores of Southern California?

Friends of mine will be leaving in two weeks for their home in Texas near the Mexican border so I am worried about their safety. If you have Obama’s number, please let him know about this war on our southern border. He really should do something to protect the lives of Americans, don’t you think? However, I know he’s been busy.
