Two arrested for DWI

Police arrested Kathy Jane Baker, 46, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated Tuesday evening after authorities received three calls of a woman driving carelessly. The first caller stated Baker was reportedly westbound on Main Street and had been seen hitting a pole and driving reckless. The second caller stated she was in the drive through at Taco John’s when Baker drove up to her car really fast and almost hit her vehicle. Baker then left and almost ran into the Kentucky Fried Chicken mailbox. The third caller stated they had seen Baker hit a light pole and a garbage can. She was also cited with careless driving and no proof of insurance, police reports stated.
Police arrested Marcus Kente Banks, 32, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 12:54 a.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Fountain Street.
Damage reported
BB gun damage was reported at 312 E. College St. at 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to police reports.
