USC volleyball beats Medford 3-0

The United South Central Volleyball team beat Medford 3-0 Thursday and have won eight of nine to start the season.
The Rebels cruised to a three-set win by scores of 25-10, 25-19 and 25-13.
“We came out really strong,” USC head coach Jolene Bute said. “I didn’t feel like we played to our full potential, but sometimes that happens in a game like that.”
Tayla Sunde led the Rebels with 20 digs and went 18-for-19 serving.
Marielle Schultz had 19 set assists, Danielle Koestler and Marielle Schultz and Kayla Stenzel each had 16 kills, and Val Sahr chipped in six kills.
