Wolverines down Athletics

After being swept by LeRoy-Ostrander Tuesday, the Glenville-Emmons volleyball took to the road on Thursday as they looked to get back in the win column against the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics.
The Wolverines defeated the Athletics 25-16, 25-16 and 25-6 to earn the sweep.
“Any win is a good win,” G-E head coach Lisa Ziebell said. “It gets the kids back on the winning track and it’s a good win going into the LeRoy-Ostrander tournament on Saturday.”
Emily Belshan led the Wolverines with eight kills, while Alayna Hall recorded six kills.
Kailey Davis led the teams in digs with 15,and Hall finished with 12 digs.
Hall also went 15-for-17 serving with six ace assists, and Madisen Ziebell had seven aces assists for the Wolverines.
Jamie Williamson, in the third game, had 10 straight serve points for Glenville-Emmons to help win game three.
Devin Cooper led the Wolverines with 10 ace assists.
