Brown uses smarts, not ideological dogma

I’ve known Robin since she first ran for office some years ago. She has always been a person who listened, commented and acted with good common sense. She doesn’t follow a ideological dogma, but uses her intellect to find that course of action that is best for our town, our district and our state.
She understands that what we need are good schools, good roads and the best way to take care of our citizens. She understands that slogans like “No new taxes!” are just slogans and don’t have a lot to do with what the government can do for us. “No new taxes!” has seen our property taxes double, our roads fall to pieces and our schools take big hits to programs and services. What we all want is more efficient government. Robin Brown knows that she can’t create a more efficient government by herself, but that doesn’t stop her from doing what she can for us.
If you haven’t met Robin Brown, it’s because you weren’t home when she knocked on your door, as she has knocked on almost every door in Albert Lea and the surrounding area.
For your good and the good of the community, please vote for Robin Brown on Nov. 2.
