Do research prior to voting on Tuesday

I would just like to mention something that has been on my mind lately.

I have a real problem with a person in charge of a state who says he won’t raise taxes, but then starts cutting funds that go to local governments and schools. This causes the local governments and schools to raise taxes. But remember, the person in charge said he wouldn’t raise taxes. Technically, he is keeping his promise. But in a not so nice way.

Meanwhile, property taxes are jumping, and schools are looking for money because they are hurting.

Something just doesn’t pass the smell test.

And keep in mind, there are more politicians who want his job who are saying they could cut even more, meanwhile promising to not raise taxes.

I would ask everyone who will be voting this year to please do some research on you favorite candidate. Don’t vote for someone just because they are Republican, Democrat or independent.

Thank you.
