Allen and Halane Besser, of Alden, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Jamie Besser to Mathew Holm, son of Richard and Suzanne Holm, of St. Cloud.

Grandparents of Jamie are Marge Besser of Albert Lea, Bernadette Berg of Owatonna, the late Harold and Monica Berg and the late Ralph Besser.

Grandparents of Mathew are the late Emmert and Myrtle Holm and the late Dale and Mildred Fox.

Jamie is a graduate from Alden-Conger High School and Anoka-Ramsey College. She is employed with the Minnesota Department of Corrections as a corrections officer.

Mathew is a graduate from Technical High School. He is employed with Anderson Trucking Services as a diesel mechanic.

An Oct. 23, 2010, wedding is planned at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Alden. An open house wedding dance will begin at 8 p.m. at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club in Albert Lea.
