Five thefts reported in A.L.

Two female shoplifters at Walmart were reported to the Albert Lea police department Friday at 8:42 p.m.

Albert Lea police received a report Saturday at 1:17 p.m. of a pickup topper stolen from the property at 704 Madison Ave. A report was filed.

Albert Lea police responded to a theft by fraud call at 417 Bridge Ave. Saturday at 3:19 p.m. It was reported that an insurance check had been cashed with a forged endorsement. A report was filed.

Albert Lea police responded to a theft report at 132 Bridge Ave. Saturday at 9:55 p.m.

Albert Lea police responded to a theft report at 318 E. Eighth Street. Sunday at 1:14 p.m. A snowblower reported stolen was recovered at 220 E. Seventh St. and returned to its owner.

Criminal damage reported

Albert Lea police responded to a criminal damage property report Friday at 11:06 p.m. at 820 Freeborn Ave. It was reported that someone broke out the front window of the house. No suspects were seen and a report was filed.

Two cited for minor consumption

Albert Lea police cited Darrell Isiah Luttrell, age 18, for minor consumption Saturday at 2:18 a.m., at the intersection of Richway Dr. and Lakeview Blvd. during a traffic stop.

Cody Steven Musel, age 18, was cited for underage drinking by Albert Lea police Sunday at 12:52 a.m. at 801 Water St.

Man cited for DWI

Trevor Ryan Rasmussen, age 19, was cited for 3rd degree DWI and placed on mandatory hold Sunday at 1:37 a.m. at the intersection of E. Main St. and Morningside Rd. by Albert Lea police.

Fire responded to; man cited

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office responded a cornfield fire east of Hollandale Cemetery, south of Hollandale, Saturday at 1:52 p.m. The fire was put out before the deputy arrived.

Roger Karl Goskesen was cited for burning without a permit Sunday at 3:15 p.m. at 72075 340 St., Hartland, by sheriff’s officials.

Albert Lea police responded to a cornfield fire at 66451 275th St., Alden, Saturday at 12:56 p.m.
