Rhonda Schmidt’s class at Halverson Elementary School has already had two mystery readers this year! Luella Kearney read “Officer Buckle and Gloria” to the kids. This story is also in the third grade reading textbooks. The second guest reader was Principal Matt Esterby. He surprised the class by reading “The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs!.” The children really enjoyed listening to these stories. Each week they look forward to seeing who the next mystery reader will be.
