The Albert Lea Police Department responded to a harassment/stalking complaint on Friday at 8:13 a.m. at 714 Valley Avenue, Albert Lea. A car was reportedly egged, windows smeared black and the car was vandalized with writing.

At 10:25 a.m., police responded to a similar report at 808 Freeborn Ave., Albert Lea. It was reported that items were thrown on a vehicle, and the car was vandalized with writing. Reports were filed in both cases.

Man arrested

Albert Lea Police responded to a theft report on Friday at 4:56 p.m. at 2610 Bridge Ave., Albert Lea. Zacharia Andrew Roberts was arrested for shoplifting and possession of marijuana.

DWI arrest

Albert Lea Police arrested Larissa Lee Nesset on fourth degree DWI and possession of paraphernalia Saturday at 11:13 p.m. during a traffic stop at E. Main St. and E. William St., Albert Lea.

Property damages reported

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of criminal property damages at 79802 130 St. in Glenville Monday at 8:25 a.m. Damages were reportedly unknown and a report was filed.

Albert Lea Police responded to a criminal property damage report Mondat at 8:18 a.m. at 2014 E. Main St., Albert Lea. A motor home behind the building was reportedly damaged.

Burglary attempt

Albert Lea Police responded to an attempted burglary at 1326 S. Broadway Ave., Albert Lea, Monday at 12:31 p.m. It was reported that unknown subject(s) attempted to pry open a door. Nothing was reported missing.

Drug citation

Albert Lea police made contact with four individuals Monday at 10:30 p.m. at 160 Bridge Ave., Albert Lea. Alexander Patrick Schultz was reportedly cited for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and warned on littering.

Damage at parks

Albert Lea Parks Superintendant Joe Grossman reported criminal property damages Monday at two local parks.

Grossman called in reports for damages at Pioneer Park at 8:31 a.m. and Edgewater Park at 9:02 a.m.

At Pioneer Park, it was reported that messages had been written in permanent magic marker on six picnic tables on the concrete under the pavilion. The vandalism included tic tac toe games, messages about marijuana and a general dislike for the city’s police department. Damages were estimated at $750.

At Edgewater Park, the reservation sign at the pavillion was reportedly damaged and must be replaced. Damages and cleanup were reportedly $200.
