USC beats Saint Peter, advances to section championship

The United South Central girls’ tennis team advanced to the Section 2A championship this morning at Gustavus Adolphus College after beating Saint Peter 4-3.
The Rebels play the Waseca Bluejays for the championship and a state tournament berth at 12:30 p.m.
USC lost to Waseca earlier this season 5-2.
