Vikings rush past North Iowa

After a win last week against West Hancock, the Northwood-Kensett football team traveled to North Iowa on Friday night in search of their second straight win.
The Vikings had 306 yards rushing and rushed for three touchdowns as Northwood-Kensett defeated North Iowa 31-7.
The Vikings offense out gained the Bison 351 yards to 163 yards.
Quarterback Spencer Capitani led the Vikings with 25 rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown.
Capitani also went 4-of-5 passing for 45 yards and a touchdown.
Nik Werner had 12 rushes for 78 yards and a touchdown, while Dylan Nitcher had 11 rushes for 70 yards.
Tanner Haberman was the leading receiver for Northwood-Kensett as he a one reception for 20 yards and a touchdown.
The Vikings hit the road next Friday to take on Southeast Webster.
