What is the net gain of the ICE contract?

What is the truth?
We’ve heard many times during this election campaign Sheriff Harig brought the ICE program to Freeborn County. And that ICE has brought $2.4 million to Freeborn County.
Nobody has informed us, the citizens of Freeborn County, what the costs have been. As I recall there were 17 new jailers hired, two transport vans purchased and additional transport personnel hired. There is also an additional cost for fuel, insurance, maintenance for these vehicles. And the expense of medical care for the ICE inmates.
We know the gross amount of money that Freeborn County has received since the ICE program started, but what is the net income after all costs have been deducted? Sheriff Harig has never talked about the true net profit the ICE program has brought to Freeborn County.
